Software today announced its MIP Fund Accounting product has
earned a coveted Campbell Award from Campbell Rinker, a
nonprofit research firm, for its exceptional ratings in a
recent nationwide survey of accounting software users. MIP
Fund Accounting received the highest overall satisfaction
score among all products rated in the Nonprofit Accounting
Software Survey. In 2004, the product received a Campbell
Award for having the Best Expense Tracking capabilities of all
rated products.

A key finding of the Campbell Rinker study was that
accounting software users ranked system “reliability” the most
important aspect of the 18 considered. Reliability factored as
an important issue for MIP Fund Accounting system users in
particular, who ranked the product’s reliability as the aspect
with which they are most satisfied. Among all users surveyed,
the ability to access the software via the Internet was the
least important of the 18 aspects considered.
Campbell Rinker conducted the Nonprofit Accounting Software
Survey online between November 2004 and January 2005, and
gathered information on user satisfaction, pricing
preferences, purchasing habits, and organizational scope. The
firm thoroughly screened users to ensure results were
accurate. Half of the survey respondents have final purchase
authority for accounting software. Ninety-one percent of
respondents use the software at least once a week.
